Refrigerators

A refrigerator is available for students in the Micro Kitchen of the Masters’ Studio in the Bloomberg Center, and there is a microwave available in the Bloomberg Center Café. Labeling of items is strongly encouraged to avoid any confusion since this is a shared refrigerator. Cleaning notices will be posted on the refrigerator close to the end of the month. Please remember to remove all items by the last Friday of every month to allow Cornell Tech staff to clean the refrigerators.  Cornell Tech reserves the right to dispose of spoiled items at any time.

Lockers

Individual lockers are available for students on a first come, first served basis. Lockers are located in the Bloomberg Center on the lower level across from classroom 091, as well as, in the Masters’ Studio on the first floor. Lockers are also available in the Tata Innovation Center in the 2nd floor hallway adjacent to the Masters’ Loft.  Please feel free to claim a locker by placing your own padlock on it.  In June, after the end of the academic year, all remaining locks will be removed by Cornell Tech and the locks and all contents of the lockers will be discarded.

Reflection Room

Need some quiet time to yourself? Visit the reflection room in 275 Bloomberg! This room is designed as an inclusive and welcoming space for students, faculty, and staff who represent a diverse set of backgrounds.  This shared space is intended as a peaceful retreat for reflection, prayer, contemplation, meditation, and practice. Please note the posted guidelines in the room. The reflection room is open during business hours when classes are in session Monday through Friday 9-5 pm.  Master’s students are not permitted above the first floor unless using the reflection room or meeting with a faculty or staff member.

Lost and Found

The Cornell Tech Safety & Security department operates a campus lost & found located at the Bloomberg Center Security Desk. Any found items can be surrendered to the Security Desk on a 24-hour basis. However, if you wish to claim any lost property, you must do so from Monday – Friday, between the hours of 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM. For your convenience, you may call the Security Desk at 646-971-3664 or email @ securitydesk@tech.cornell.edu to inquire if your lost property has been found and surrendered to Safety & Security.

We suggest placing your phone number or email somewhere on your belongings, so that you may be contacted as soon as your property is found. Please bring photo Identification when claiming property. Safety & Security will hold found property for a minimum of three (3) months from the date it is received. Unclaimed property will be disposed of semi-annually and a notice will be sent out to the community advising community members to check for lost property prior to this date.
