What does Student Wellness do?
Daniel, the Student Wellness and Support Manager, provides the following services to students: outreach, education, referrals to providers for student health and mental health needs, as well as support and assistance in response to student crises.
Daniel serves as a liaison to the Cornell University Title IX office to provide options for support, resources and reporting, including connection to local confidential support resources*, health care and law enforcement.
*The Crime Victims Treatment Center (CVTC) is a free and confidential service available to all Cornell Tech students. They offer educational outreach, advocacy and support through therapeutic counseling and specially trained sexual assault forensic examiners (SAFEs) located in Mount Sinai West on 58th st and 10th Ave. CVTC can be reached at https://www.cvtcnyc.org/ or 212-523-4728.
