Social Hours

Enjoy snacks and drinks at PhD Social Hours! These events are open to the research community at Cornell Tech; faculty, post-docs, and PhD students. Keep an eye on your email for announcements on upcoming events!

 

Grad School Events

Check out the Grad School’s calendar of events! While the office is located in Ithaca, many of their events are online or hybrid and open to Cornell Tech students. Be sure to check the modality before you register!

 

Student Club Events

At the beginning of each academic year, students are able to form clubs! Join an existing club, or start your own to build your community at Cornell Tech and host club events on campus!

 

Volunteer

There are many ways to volunteer both on and off campus at Cornell Tech! Our Community Engagement team partners with organizations across Roosevelt Island that regularly host events and welcome volunteers. Our K–12 Education team is also always looking for PhD students interested in supporting their work by running workshops and programs.

 

PACT Events

PhD’s at Cornell Tech (PACT) also work to organize events for PhDs! You’ll hear about their events through the PhD list serve, PhD slack channel, or in the Student Affairs newsletter PhD Corner.
